ŠKODA presented unique classic cars in Paris.
The ŠKODA museum demonstrates seven retro vehicles at the show of motorcycles and cars RETROMOBILE in Paris.
The unique ŠKODA Hispano Suiza of 1928 and other two old cars of 1930 were presented at the hall number 3 of Porte de Versailles.
There were the valuable exhibits of the ŠKODA museum at the prestigious show of Vintage cars RETROMOBILE, which was held in Paris from 1 to 5 February. Five historical models of ŠKODA, a motorcycle and a racing bicycle are the focus of attention of Porte de Versailles.
ŠKODA is the automaker with a rich history and traditions, which took part in the international famous show of Vintage cars. Taking pride in its 117-year history, the company presents its rarity vehicles in Paris.
One of the oldest and most valuable models of ŠKODA is the car Hispano Suiza of 1928, equipped with a 6-cylinder single-range engine with the volume of 6.654 cm3 and producing 100 hp.
There were three cars produced before the Second World War: ŠKODA Popular Monte Carlo and ŠKODA Rapid II in the hall No. 3. Exclusive bodies of these models were designed according to the individual order of a buyer and equipped with a unique electromagnetic transmission Kottal. Both vehicles got four-cylinder engines in the volume of 1.386 cm3 and the powerful of 30 hp. They were produced in 1937. Another car of 30-ies of the XX century is the majestic ŠKODA Superb 3000 OHV (type 924). It was produced in 1939 and equipped with a 6-cylinder single-range engine as ŠKODA Hispano Suiza, but the volume of Superb was as much as 3.137 cm3, and the output of 85 hp.
The youngest one of the models was produced in 1961. it was ŠKODA Felicia (type 994), equipped with an engine in volume of 1.089 cm3 and the output of 50 hp. The motorcycle Laurin & Klement CCD of 1906 completes the show of rarity exhibits of the ŠKODA museum. 675 models of this motorcycle were produced. Also there was the racing bicycle Laurin & Klement Slavia of 1900, reconstructed from the original parts and details at the show.
This year’s exhibits of ŠKODA are different from the last year ones. So, last year, there were the model Voiturette A of 1906 and the rally model 1100 ŠKODA OHC of 1958. Thus, visitors can see the new representatives of the priceless collection of ŠKODA.

The show of antique motorcycles and Vintage cars RETROMOBILE opened its doors to fans of rarity vehicles already 37 times. In 2012, the show area of Vintage cars was firstly expanded to three rooms to present more than 350 exhibits. Organizers expect that for 5 days, from the 1st to 5th of February the show of Vintage cars will be visited more than 90 000 people from all over the world.
