The resurrection of Detroit Electric arrived as rather a shock when it announced its intentions to re-enter the marketplace in March. What came as even more of-a shock was the fact it had intended to launch its first version in August 2013 - - and the quickness in which it announced its first auto - - the 2014 SP : 01. The latter was a little challenging, per a report, as it seems the launch was delayed for about a month.
However, some Is and Ts stay undotted and uncrossed within the agreement, which will push production to sometime in September rather than the initially announced August beginning date.
So, this facility should be home to one or more other future model.
