A new LR2 of Land Rover
Land Rover is working on updating its LR2 that was produced this year. The renewed model will get the new interior, appearance and a powertrain.
We could catch a prototype on the streets.
This novelty is based on the Range Rover Evoque platform. The upgraded LR2 will come on the market next year as a model of 2015.
However, the LR2 will be larger than the Evoque that it why the novelty is planned to have seven seats. Thereby, the carmaker will offer the novelty with five-seats too. This model will add the Land Rover’s range of compact SUVs and crossovers; perhaps, the 2015 LR2 may be named “Discovery”.
The renewed LR2 will get the 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which can issue the output of 240 horsepower with 250 lb-ft of torque. In addition, this novelty will be offered with a 3.0-liter V6 supercharged powertrain. The car get the nine-speed automatic gearbox as standard.
