We have some time until the Tutto Italiano show on this Sunday and let’s recall memorable vehicle of the show last summer.
The Larz Anderson Auto Museum could not go without presenting of Alfa Romeo Milano. The Milano model is well-known as the Alfa Romeo 75, especially this car was sold a lot in the U.S.A. market.
The second participant of last year’s show was Fiat 128 Rally of 1978. This vehicle was always available as a four-door sedan and a station wagon. A name “Rally” meant using a 1290-cc engine in this model in contrast to models, which were equipped with the 1116-cc engines.
There was also Alfa Romeo Giulia Nuova Super 1600 that was launched from 1977. This model was very popular in Switzerland and the Netherlands. A man who brought this vehicle to the show is its owner Richard Askin.
Lancia Montecarlo was also known as the Lancia Scorpion in the U.S.A. auto market presented by Carl Helmetag at the show of last year. This model with mid-engine and rear-wheel drive was built by Pininfarina from 1974 to 1982 and the total number of this model was about 8 thousands cars.
The last year’s show introduced many popular cars such as De Tomaso Pantera even its first model – the Pantera GTS, the Fiat 124 Sport by Pininfarina, which was favorite in the late 1970s, the Alfa Romeo Spider Niki Lauda of 1978.
