Audi is working on the RS5 special edition for the U.S. auto market
After launching of high performance models such as the Lexus RC F, Cadillac ATS-V coupe and the BMW M4, we have lost attention at the Audi RS 5, which is a quite good rival for those cars as well.
The Audi RS 5 is equipped with the 4.2-liter V8 engine, which is able to produce the output of 450 horsepower. That vehicle accelerates from 0 mph to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. Moreover, the RS 5 is available in a convertible version, too.
Currently, the Audi carmaker has made decision to produce the slightly updated version of the RS 5 but in the special edition for the U.S. auto market. The RS 5 coupe Sport is planned to be launched in a limited production –only 75 cars as well.
The limited version will be offered with some new paint finishes, Fine Nappa leather trims and the new custom 20-inch wheels.
The novelty is equipped with the seven-speed S-tronic dual-clutch gearbox and available with all-wheel-drive Quattro. The maximum speed of the RS 5 Special edition is 174mph but electrically limited as well.
The Audi’s novelty comes on the market as a car of 2015 model year and for the price from 87,575 dollars.
