BMW is working on the eDrive plug-in hybrid of the 3-series
According to the carmaker, the BMW has scheduled to produce new hybrid version of both i8 and i3; however, currently we have caught information that the X5 will be introduced as the eDrive concept, which is built on the 3-series.
Unfortunately, the auto manufacturer has not officially announced launching the hybrid version of the 3-series yet. Anyway, we dare to share some information about this plug-in novelty with you.
The X5 eDrive concept is equipped with a powertrain consists of a four-cylinder turbocharged engine and the 67-kilowatt electric motor. This hybrid vehicle is able to accelerate from 0 mph to 60 mph in 7.0 second, only electric-powered car drive about 19 miles.
