Bentley has introduced the Continental GT3-R
This week the super luxury auto manufacturer Bentley has revealed its new Continental GT3-R, which is planned to launch as a limited version. According to the carmaker, Bentley plans to produce only 300 cars of this edition.
The GT3-R will be equipped with the 4.0-liter V8 twin turbocharged engine as the Continental GT V8 S. In addition, the novelty will get new boost and powertrain’s control software. This powertrain will be able to produce the output of 572 horsepower and the torque of 516 lb-ft. Due to reducing the car’s weight by 220 pounds and this boosted engine, the new GT3-R accelerates from o mph to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds.
Moreover, the new limited Continental GT3-R will be equipped with the eight-speed ZF gearbox with the new recalibrated paddle shifters for better controlling.
The brand’s all-wheel-drive system was revised and improved that makes the new GT3-R to be the best handling vehicle in the world.
Meanwhile, this novelty will wear the 21-inch lightweight wheels and the tires Pirelli.
The auto manufacturer has used new carbon-silicon carbide brakes include 16.5-inch brake discs in front the 14-inch brake discs in the back.
In spite of the new GT3-R is made for speed, but it is still the Bentley model, so the car’s interior includes the Alcantara leather, carbon fiber elements and fancy seats. Bentley uses a green color in its racecars so the limited novelty has it on the dashboard, the steering wheel and seats, respectively.
The exterior is also updated; it gets the new front splitter and the back carbon fiber wing. As any Bentley’s models, the GT3-R gets many brand’s details and features.
The auto manufacturer plans to declare the price for this limited edition at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this month. We may suppose the price can be about 240,000 the U.K. pounds.
