Buick presents its Avenir Concept in Detroit
Especially for the annual Detroit auto show, Buick rolled out its new concept named Avenir. It is a new chic sedan equipped with the all-wheel-drive and probably oriented on the American auto market.
The concept has the traditional Buick’s design combined with the modern style and contemporary cues as well. Most likely, after the debut of concept car, the carmaker will stsrt preparing for the production.
The Buick Avenir has pretentions of the premium segment cars.
Inside, there is also what to look at. The interior includes leather, wood and chrome accents. There is the four-seat layout equipped with technologies. Besides, standard equipment, the novelty gets the new 12-inch touch screen and the brand’s infotainment system IntelliLink.
The Avenir is built on the Omega platform, which expected the rear-wheel-driver. The main rivals for the Avenir will be Mercedes S-class and the Cadillac CT6. In spite of the platform, the new model will be offered with the all-wheel-drive.
The novelty is equipped with the V6 engine updated with the start-stop technology. The powertrain works with the nine-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters and the twin-clutch.
We are expecting the Buick carmaker will make decision to put the Avenir into the production soon.
