China's auto market rebounds October SUV sales up by 61 percent

China's automotive marketplace seems to have rallied in October after many months months of difficulty.
Sales of sedans, sport utility vehicles and mini vans soared by 13.3% to 1.9 million units for the month, up from a small 3.3 percent increase in September, according to China Association of Automobile Producers information mentioned by The Detroit News.The planet biggest automotive marketplace has been on a rollercoaster journey this year, beginning powerful before stockmarket problems sent deliveries back for three straight months. Many car companies responded to the chaos by slashing costs to improve sales. The most recent report indicates authorities intervention, specifically a tax-cut on vehicles with little engines, may have experienced an even greater effect on the turn around. Reflecting US flavors, SUV sales in China soared by over 60 60% in Oct as sedan amounts stayed flat.
