Details on the Lincoln MKX of 2016 model year

Those years, Lincoln did not renewed its racing lineup; however, finally the situation started changing when the automaker presented two new models. Novelties are a crossover MKC and a sedan MKZ. What about the new crossover, it is introduced at the show in Detroit of this year as well.
Moreover, the auto manufacturer is also preparing to present the production version of the MKX, which was shown as a concept car last year. The novelty will come on the auto market by the end of this year as a car of 2016 model year. As the production version, it is equipped with renewed more conventional headlights including LED and HID elements.
The interior is similar to a smaller model of MKC. There is the leather Bridge of Weir trim, seats equipped with 22-way adjustability are cooled and heated. In addition, the novelty gets the new Revel audio system and the MyLincoln Touch infotainment system.
Currently, the automaker has not revealed a powertrain, which are mounted in the novelty. Meanwhile, the new car looks similar to the latest Ford Edge. The novelty of Ford is available with four-cylinder and six-cylinder EcoBoost engines. The vehicle will be most likely equipped with the six-speed automatic gearbox, which is also used in the 2015 Edge.
