SAN FRAN -- New video surfaced Thursday of a vehicle doing donuts at the center of the westbound upper deck of the Bay Bridge Saturday day last weekend, an event that caused significant delays for motorists, CBS San Francisco reports. These type of sideshows are seen occurring around the Bay Region for a long time, but the day-time event was especially daring. The episode involving a muscle-car driving recklessly on the eastern span of the Bay Bridge brought traffic on the westbound upper deck into a standstill for a number of minutes. While the Chp understood concerning the sideshow, they were oblivious of the Instagram video that has been posted by person @bayareamovement on Monday until CBS Bay Area introduced it to their focus. The video contained text where the individual posting mentioned "it just took 4 automobiles to shut it down," talking about the upper deck traffic."Several CHP models really reacted," stated CHP spokesman Vu Williams. "From the time we got there, although no automobiles were found that were performing side-shows or driving recklessly."These Were were not capable find the motorists when they left the highway either. But now this movie is assisting within their probe."The risk isn't only could one of the motorists get killed, but more significantly innocent by-standers," stated Williams. "It is a an incredibly real and serious risk."Sideshows have become more and more popular. While Policeman Williams noted that the amount of sideshows has not improved, the amount of supporters and places on social media have gone up. Only Wednesday evening, more movie was posted under the hash tag "#bayareamovement." An account by that title has just been around half a year, but currently has nearly 18,000 followers.CHP would not get into in to details about their probe, but did say the movie KPIX delivered to to their consideration -- along with the the report that posted it -- are all a part of fixing the issue."These issues when they occur we take quite seriously," stated Williams. "We react and we follow through to [them]."CHP advised CBS Bay Area it's difficult to react to the smaller sideshows such as those which have occurred on the Bay Bridge due to the tiny amount of individuals involved as well as the limited hoopla prior to the events which may enable authorities to be in place just before the side show occurring.
