Jaguar Land Rover’s plant starts working in 2016

This year the Jaguar Land Rover Company has announced to build the new factory in Brazil to extend its vehicles production. However, it is not the only carmaker building a plant in Brazil. A year later three largest auto manufacturers –Mercedes, Audi and BMW said their plans to start launching in Brazil.
According to the official statement of the brand’s representative, Brazil is one of the very important region to the global car industry; there are many potential customers, who are interested in cars of the premium class there.
The British auto manufacturer is the first carmaker, which has concluded an agreement with the Brazilian government to start production in the country.
The factory is planned to be build in Itatiaia and start working in 2016. The annual capacity of this plant is expected to produce about 24,000 cars; nearby 400 workers will be employed there.
The increasing of the production is the truly important step of the company. To start launching in Brazil may be the great opportunity to find more areas in the Latin America for development.
Besides, according to the official statement, the auto manufacturer is going to establish factories in Saudi Arabia and the largest auto market in the world in China.
Jaguar Land Rover plans to invest about 392.7 million dollars in total to extend the car production in the world.
