SEMA, Detroit, Baja, Moab -- there is no negative time or location to introduce a special-edition Jeep. The truth is, FCA has 2 of them arriving at the L.A. Auto-Show: The Grand Cherokee SRT Nighttime, which gets the de rigueur black look package, and the Wrangler Back-Country, which gets enough offroad touches to smash everything wintertime has to offer.
The SRT Nighttime features black polish paint on on the top, rear spoiler, front grille bezels, B- and C-pillars and side-window environment. The leading applique and badges have been in satin black.
Lightweight split five-spoke 5Ten 20-inch wheels will also be in black, while the Brembo calipers stay normal crimson. Outdoor colour options comprise velvet crimson, billet silver and granite crystal.
The Grand Cherokee Evening gets the standard SRT treatment using a 6.4-liter V8 motor with 475 hp and 470 lb-feet of torque. Flexible dampers and flexible drive ways will also be normal. A double-pane sun roof, premium sound system, tow bundle, three-time tires and a full size spare are discretionary.
The Wrangler Back-Country is dependant on the Sahara version, which can be somewhat ironic, considering it is assembled for wintertime. It gets unique stickers, powder-coated fenders, 17-inch Rubicon wheels along with a black gas fill door.
Rubicon stone rails and black hard-top are normal, but Sahara side-steps and body colour hardtop are discretionary. The Back Country comes in five colours: hydro azure, black, glowing white, granite crystal and "xtreme" purple.
The Grand Cherokee SRT Nighttime
Indoors, Back Country includes black port rings, door handles and grab-handles, a vinyl-wrapped cabinet lid and door arm-rests with diesel grey accent stitching, black McKinley leather seat bolsters with black sport net inserts, a nine-speaker premium audio system and all weather floor mats. Bluetooth can also be normal.
The Backcountry bundle costs $4,700 while the SRT Nighttime bundle is $4,995.
The 2016 Wrangler Back-Country arrives in showrooms in late-November while the Grand Cherokee SRT Nighttime will soon be around in the Q1 of 2016.
