Lamborghini Asterion LPI 910-4 has introduced in details in Paris
At the annual auto show in Paris, one of the largest carmaker in the world, Lamborghini, has presented its novelty –the Asterion LPI 910-4.
The new model of Lamborghini is a unique due to its noticeable style and the new powertrain, which consists of the 5.2-liter V10 engine, producing the output of 610 horsepower and three electric motors issuing 300 horsepower; and the total output of the novelty is 910 horsepower.
Currently, the carmaker presents the Asterion as a sample of innovative technologies and plug-in electrification car’s emissions. Bur certainly, the car will be brought into production anyway.
Due to the plug-in hybrid system, the novelty is able to move about 31 miles electric only. The emissions of the Asterion is nearby 57 mpg.
Owing to the V10 engine and three electric motors, the new Lamborghini model me be handled as in hybrid mode as electric drive only.
The acceleration of the Asterion from 0 mph to 62 mph in 3.0 seconds; the maximum speed is 198 mph, while the electric drive is able to have the top speed of 77 mph.
The design of the novelty is quite different from other Lamborghini models. The interior looks more comfortable.
What is the name LPI 910-4? What does it mean? - You may ask. It means Longitudinale Posteriore Ibrido (longitudinal rear-mid-engine hybrid) 910 horsepower of the output and four-wheel-drive.
Currently, the Asterion is only a new view of the auto manufacturer to the future; however, if the potential customers are attracted by it, the Lamborghini puts it into production. Who knows, the Asterion may be a rival for Ferrari LaFerrari, Porsche 918 Spyder and McLaren P1 as well.
