Mercedes shows its new S-class
The German auto manufacturer is ready to introduce its new coupe of S-class, which will be also offered in the AMG package. The novelty is a car of 2015 model year.
The Mercedes Company is working on improving the family of the S-class. The updated S-class includes a limousine Pullman, which is a replacement of the Maybach, a new convertible model and finally this new coupe.
The novelty is planned to come on sale this autumn.
The new coupe has a new grille, swept-back headlights and a redesigned hood.
The interior is similar to a sedan of the same class, which was introduced as a model of 2014. However, the coupe version has the three-spoke steering wheel as a difference.
As you may suppose, the new coupe is based on the new MRA modular platform, which allows revising a redesigned suspension to improve ride and control.
The novelty is expected to be available with a 4.6-liter V8 twin turbocharged engine, which is able to produce the output of 455 horsepower with the torque of 516 lb-ft and the 6.0-liter V12 twin turbocharged engine issuing the power of 621 horsepower with 738 lb-ft of torque.
The carmaker has equipped its new model with new infotainment and safety systems from a standard park assistance to the latest iteration of COMAND.
