New Range Rover Evoque on its way
Land Rover presented its stylish crossover Range Rover Evoque in 2012; that means the car needs some updates to keep high selling of the model. Recently, we have seen a prototype, which is the updated Evoque of 2017 model year.
What we can notice immediately, the front bumper has become wider that in the regular version as well.
However, we guess, the front part of the car may be also changed as it is in the new Discovery Sport.
The new Evoque is equipped with the 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. The engine is also of the Ingenium family, but a diesel powertrain may replace for the 2.2-liter oil-burner, which is used in the present version.
The novelty will be available with front-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive as well. The gearbox is the standard nine-speed automatic but some markets will get the six-speed manual gearbox, too.
In addition, the carmaker plans to launch the Evoque in convertible and long-wheelbase variants. Moreover, there may be the performance version appear.
The updated Range Rover Evoque comes on the market by the end of this year or at the beginning of next year.
