Police Couple overdosed on heroin with child in car

TAUNTON, Mass. - A Massachusetts couple was detained after allegedly overdosing on heroin during an automobile with their 2-year old kid, reviews CBS Boston.Policemen say they identified 28-year old Lynette Slocomb and her boy friend, 30-year old Jeffrey Silva, in a auto Sunday near a food mart in Taunton, about 40 miles south of Boston. Their kid was in the back-seat, in line with the station. Slocomb and Silva were allegedly transported to your hospital where these were were effectively treated with Narcan, a drug used to counter the consequences of opioids -- particularly in overdoses. The kid was uninjured.

"That they had bought and injected the heroin while the kid was in the vehicle," Taunton Police Lt. Paul Roderick stated, according to CBS Boston.Slocomb's mom, Lori Johnson, informed the station she expects her daughter learns from this encounter."It Is A a rough position. I do not want this on anybody. My greatest anxiety is having the telephone call that my daughter has died. as soon as I discovered my grandson was in the vehicle, it disturb me even more," she said.
