We are expecting the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, which will come on the market in a year
The Porsche manufacturer is working on the development of its latest 911 GT3, which will come on the market in 2015. Currently, the carmaker is carrying out testing of its novelty.
As we could notice this updated model looked very aggressive and sinister due to its new exterior, a new big back wing and hard aerodynamics.
The renewed exterior includes a new big lip around a front spoiler, redesigned rear bumper and fenders; in addition, the auto manufacturer equips this novelty with wider tires and wheels respectively.
The GT3 RS has lost some weight, it currently weights lighter than its predecessor, which was presented as a model of 2014. Moreover, the carmaker has worked a lot on upgrading of a new powertrain as well.
That means the original powertrain of the GT3 model, which consists of a 3.8-liter engine that is able to produce the output of 475 horsepower, may become more powerful for the GT3 RS.
Most likely that the auto manufacturer will offer the manual gearbox for its novelty as standard. However, it is exactly tha0 the new model will be offered with the PDK transmission as an optional feature.
When the future novelty drove the famous Nürburgring Nordschleife track, it showed the maximum speed of 195 mph and the acceleration from 0 mph to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds.
We are expecting the Porsche’s novelty in summer of this year as a car of 2015 model year.
Besides, currently the Porsche manufacturer is also working on its GT2 and GT2 RS that will come on the auto market by the end of this year and next year respectively.
