Porsche CEO Reveals Due Date for Next-Gen Panamera
Really, as it was back in 2009 introduced, it is becoming a bit long in the zahn. Now we understand when to anticipate Panamera 2.0.
According to a report in Indian Automobiles Site, Porsche CEO Matthias Muller stated the second-generation Panamera will appear throughout the 2nd half of next year, at least in Europe, and that it could feature more or less the same design language as the existing auto, with more modern details. The report failed to specify whether Muller was referring to the automobile's auto show debut or the particular marketplace launch, however, if the report is right, do not be surprised to find it appear at the 2016 Paris auto show or, instead, at the New York auto show next spring with a marketplace debut in the autumn.
Talking of downsizing, the report failed to address the question of which Panamera forms would seem first, though it's widely anticipated that Porsche will establish added Panamera body designs, including a smaller, more coupelike model as well as a long-roof wagon-esque variant along the lines of the hot Sport Turismo theory first seen in the 2012 Paris auto show.
