Rolls-Royce will show its Wraith Drophead coupe in 2015
The auto manufacturer is working on the development of two versions of the popular Ghost model. As you may remember, the Ghost coupe is produced as the Wraith, which is a car of a 2014 model year. The second variant of the Ghost is expected to be a convertible named as the Wraith Drophead Coupe. We will have a chance to see this novelty in two years.
According to the carmaker’s announcement, The Wraith Drophead Coupe is focused on young customers who have not even dreamt to buy the Rolls-Royce before.
That is a reason to increase number of the Rolls-Royce potential buyers.
Well, now let us talk about the novelty. The new Rolls-Royce cabrio is built on the platform of BMW six-series. The powertrain includes a 6.6-liter V12 engine, which can produce the output of 624-horsepower. This model is planned to get a soft top.
The auto manufacturer has even said a rough price of the convertible; this model is expected to cost over 289,000 dollars (the price of the 2014 Wraith).
