A car was going at a "high price of speed" when it flew off of Anaheim Road in Long Beach and landed near the Los Angeles River from the 710 Freeway, Long Beach cops said Friday.Three of the auto's four riders, two guys along with a girl - all-in their 20s - were pronounced dead in the scene, said Long Beach Fire Department spokesman Brian Fisk.The fourth passenger, a man considered to be in his 20s, suffered moderate injuries and was hoisted outside on a stretcher and ran to an area trauma center, Fisk said. The car was eastbound on Anaheim Avenue and left the route where it meets the off-ramp, turned and landed to the stone close to the river beneath, authorities said. It failed to land in the water. The crash had shut down the Anaheim Avenue off-ramps from the 710 Freeway in both directions through the probe. Authorities re-opened the highway offramps and Anaheim Road to visitors around mid-day. The identities of the casualties might be introduced Friday afternoon, the county coroner said. Authorities said they were inquiring if drugs or alcohol was a determinant in the crash.
