Spy Shots: Mercedes S-Class Coupe Caught Testing In Germany
Later today, Mercedes can drop the details on the new S-Class car, but our spy photographers were busy too. They managed to get the S-Class Coupe testing in Hamburg, Germany.
Even though the model found assessment was heavily camouflaged, it's obvious the coupe version is going to be nearly similar to the design. It'll get a more prominent top grille, new headlamps, and sportier and more elegant lines than last year's model. Of course, the coupe version can look a bit sportier, due to the absence of the rear doors.
Under the cover, we anticipate seeing the same selection found in the car, including: a V-6 turbo-diesel engine that gives 255 horsepower; a turbocharged gasoline V-8 with 449 horsepower; and a hybrid version that may incorporate a gasoline V-6 and an electrical motor for an overall total output of 302 hp.
