The 2015 Hyundai Genesis will become four-wheel drive
According to the official statement of the auto manufacturer, next year the Hyundai brand plans to launch its great Genesis sedan that will get some optional features like a four-wheel-drive system.
As we remember, this car was driven on the tracks like the German Nürburgring and the Yeongam F1 in Korea.
The Korean carmaker announced about launching a car equipped with the HTRAC all-wheel drive system.
This system will control the torque between rear and front wheels that depends on roads and driving conditions.
This new Genesis is the first car, which gets this system. Then all cars equipped with the HTRAC will get a small special badge on a trunk lid.
The novelty will get a 3.8-liter V-6 engine that can produce 333 horsepower and a 5.0-liter V-8 engine, which has the output of 429 horsepower. In addition, the car will get the eight-speed automatic gearbox as standard. Besides, the carmaker is going to launch a diesel variant for foreign markets.
The new Genesis is planned to be introduced in January next year at the show in Detroit.
