The 2016 Rolls-Royce Phantom gets the BMW 7-series platform
We would like to remember you about the Rolls-Royce Phantom that was launched in 2003 under the direction of the BMW brand and this model have been producing since then.
Recently the Phantom was updated by introduction of coupe and convertible models, which were also refreshed to keep modern appearance.
Owing to the automotive news report, we have a great opportunity to see the new Phantom that were expecting its redesign for some time.
The new Phantom model will be based on the BMW 7-series platform and the novelty will come in 2016. Due to this platform, the next Phantom will be a four-wheel drive hybrid with the fuel-saving system.
The Phantom coupe will share its technologies, systems and other developments with the new BMW 8-series in couple of years. Probably the novelty using the Phantom technologies is the Gran Lusso coupe concept car, according to the official report of the German auto manufacturer.
Then most likely, we will be presented a new Phantom Cabrio soon. Anyway, we are expecting new improved technologies and features in Rolls-Royce cars.
