The Jaguar XE appears in the U.S. in two years
Jaguar is finishing off its new sedan, which is oriented to meet competitors among 3-series BMW and the Mercedes C-class as well.
The auto manufacturer is going to show its new XE by the ending of this year before the official sales in Europe next year. However, the Jaguar XE is not expected to come on the North American auto market not earlier than in 2016.
The novelty has aggressive look including sports low and wide style.
The XE is based on the super light brand’s platform iQ, which debuted in the crossover Jaguar C-X17 in Frankfurt last year.
The Jaguar manufacturer has developed its engines family Ingenium. The Ingenium family includes mostly four-cylinder engines available in both diesel and gasoline versions, which equipped with the innovative fuel-saving technology.
Meanwhile, the novelty will get a 3.0-liter V6 engine, used in F-Type vehicles.
Moreover, the new XE will have standard eight-speed automatic gearbox and rear-wheel drive. However, customers may choose all-wheel-drive model too.
