The Smart brand has published new teasers of its new ForFour and ForTwo models
Smart is working on development the third generation of a popular mini-car –both ForTwo and ForFour models. Now we will be able to meet regular a version with as two doors as four doors.
Unfortunately, the carmaker does not plan to bring a four-door variant on the U.S. auto market.
Anyway, in spite of this, we have an opportunity to admire a new teaser of both models, which has been published recently.
Moreover, this advertising video includes an interview of the Chief engineer of Smart. He said about important all phases in developing of Smarts of next generation.
According to the engineer, there three main steps that help to make both novelties better and safer. They are improving of function and the car body, dynamic validation and also conduct about three hundred winter tests.
The carmaker declared that cars are ready to present to the auto world, because the close cousin of the latest ForTwo –the Renault Twingo has been already introduce to public.
Both carmakers worked on development the same new platform for new mini-cars.
The new Smart is equipped with a rear-mounted engine, which allows to use a rear-wheel drive working due to variable powertrains includes diesel, gasoline and even electric units.
We will have an official look at the Smart’s novelties in frameworks of the annual Paris show that takes place this October. But cars come on sale not earlier than next year.
