The long-wheelbase Range Rover will be able in a hybrid version

The Land Rover manufacturer presented the new long-wheelbase Range Rover hybrid at the show in Beijing this month. The novelty will be brought on the auto market by the end of this year; however, this novelty will not be planned to sell in the U.S.
The reason why the American buyers will not have an opportunity to buy a hybrid novelty is simple. Because the hybrid system consists of the 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine and the electric motor. The gearbox is the ZF eight-speed.
This powertrain is able to produce the power of 335 horsepower with the torque of 516 lb-ft. this novelty shows good enough fuel consumption of 36.75 mpg in combined cycle. Moreover, the hybrid version is able to accelerate the speed of 30 mph on the electric power only.
In spite of the Range Rover hybrid weights heavier by 265 pound due to the hybrid system, it have not affected the car’s off-road capability.
The car has the all-wheel drive and full pack of Land Rovers technologies and features.
