The new Mini Cooper S of 2015 model year will get five doors
Recently, the Mini brand has introduced its third generation of Cooper, which was presented in a three-door version. However, a five-door version of the third generation is planned to be introduced this year as a model of 2015 year.
The future five-door model gets a longer wheelbase and shorter doors as well. In addition, the height of a car is increased to enlarge space inside of a car.
In spite of an addition row of seats, the last back seats are suitable to only children. So if you need a model of Mini Cooper, which is bigger than the current version, it will be better to buy a Clubman model.
The auto manufacturer offers the five-door novelty equipped with two types of engine. The first one is a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine, which can produce the output of 134 horsepower with the torque of 162 lb-ft and the second powertrain includes a 2.0-liter four-cylinder producing the power of 189 horsepower and the torque of 206 lb-ft.
The transmission w
ill be available with a six-speed manual and automatic gearbox.
Besides, the novelty will get new innovative and modern features such as the parking assist, collision warnings, pedestrian warning system, the head-up display and etc.
The new five-door Cooper will be officially introduced this year.
