Toyota will introduce its powerful concept Yaris hybrid-R
The Toyota Company plans to present its new concept car at the Frankfurt Auto Show this year. The novelty will be used technology from the TS030 Hybrid Le Mans
The new hybrid is based on the Yaris hybrid with combination of the internal combustion engine and a few electric motors. The name of the concept car is Hybrid-R, which powertrain will issue 400 horsepower.
The Hybrid-R will get a dual-mode control system allowing a car will be able to move under any conditions on both roads and tracks. The development of the novelty includes the German technology using in the Le Mans program and the Toyota’s engineers of its F1 vehicles.
In the future, the Japanese company is planning to use the Le Mans technologies in its road cars and now the auto manufacturer would like to watch and know what to expect from the first Hybrid-R.
Unfortunately, the Toyota representatives has not informed yet when the first hybrid-R cars will come on auto markets but we will see it at the Frankfurt Auto Show in this September.
