Volkswagen is on its way presenting of its new concept car in Geneva
We hope surely you remember the Volkswagen CC, which was firstly produced in 2009. In some countries, this model is known as the Passat CC. In spite of that model was updated in 2013 in the car’s middle cycle, it is becoming out-of-date, anyway. Currently, the auto manufacturer is preparing to introduce its new concept car at the annual auto show, which takes place in Geneva this March.
Volkswagen will introduce its concept car at the Geneva motor show, which opens its doors on the third of March. According to the automaker, Volkswagen is going to make a humble sedan into the model of the unique design. Moreover, the carmaker plans to launch a long-wheelbase version of the updated CC and even more premium variants.
As the previous version, the future novelty CC will be offered as the Passat CC on some auto markets. The new concept car is based on the MQB platform, which is quite flexible and allows using alternative powertrains and different technologies.
Most likely, the new CC comes on the market by the end of next year or at the beginning of 2017. The novelty will be offered with the new ten-speed DSG dual-clutch gearbox as well.
We are impatiently expecting when the new Volkswagen CC appears on the auto market. First look is planned on the auto show in Geneva, but we have to wait for that event, which is taking place in March.
