Volkswagen presents its new mid-sized coupe in Beijing this week
The auto manufacturer has presented its new middle size coupe concept with four doors. This concept has the Jetta size but look sportier.
The New Mid-sized Coupe is 4.6 feet of the height and its width is more than 6 feet as well. Its total length is nearby 15 feet.
The coupe concept stands on the 20-inch wheels with 245/40 tires.
Besides its sports proportions, the Volkswagen coupe concept gets redesigned exterior. For example, it has the new lower air dam that used in the latest Touareg. In addition, the concept gets new LED headlights and a grille. Taillights are equipped with aluminum elements; there is the new integrated back diffuser and square-formed exhaust pipes.
This car is based on the brand’s flexible platform MQB, which includes the 2.0-liter turbocharged TSI direct-injected engine producing the power of 220 horsepower. This unit accelerates from 0 mph to 62 mph in nearby 6.5 seconds; the maximum speed is 152 mph.
The standards are the seven-speed dual-clutch DSG gearbox and front-wheel-drive.
The interior includes most details of the 2015 Golf. There is Alcantara, silk-colored leather trim, wood and metal accents inside.
