We have caught the newest Jeep Jeepster
Recently we have glanced the prototype of the future Jeep Jeepster, which is built on the Fiat 500L. Now the car looks like a finished car that is prepared for the auto show, which will take place in Geneva next month.
The car will get a four-cylinder engine, which is as powerful as the powertrain of the Fiat 500L.
The auto manufacturer plans to offer the novelty with the front-wheel-drive as standard according to the platform, which the Jeepster built on. However, the carmaker says this model will be also available in all-wheel-drive variant as an optional feature.
The novelty is planned to be launched in the plant of Chrysler in Italy.
According to the official information, the carmaker is going to produce both new Jeep Jeepster and the updated Fiat 500L and their launching cost is expected about 1.3 billion dollars.
The manufacturer plans to sell about 150,000 Jeepsters per year owing to increasing demand for compact crossovers in the auto market.
As we may notice, the novelty will meet competition with Opel Mokka, Nissan Juke and Mini Cooper Countryman as well.
Anyway, all secrets will be opened next week, when the new Jeep Jeepster will be showed at the Geneva show as a car of 2015 model year.
