What we are waiting for from the Tokyo Auto Show this year?

Guess you are hip to the latest news that there are three international motor show in the world at the same time: in Tokyo, Los Angeles and Guangzhou. What will you visit? Today we would like to tell you the brief summary what you may expect at the Tokyo show.

The largest auto manufacturers prepare their novelties to show in Tokyo and let us to tell you about the best of them.

And here we go!

First of all, there is the Nissan Blade Glider concept car. This is an electric car, which has just three seats. The concept looks like the Zeod RC electric racecar, which Nissan might use as a base. There is some talk, the carmaker plans to launch a production model of this concept. We will see… However, this vehicle has the future exterior, really. You have to watch it.

The Nissan brand also presents the GT-R NISMO that is expected to be launched in 2015. This car is equipped with a powertrain, which produces the output of 595 horsepower with the torque of 480 lb-ft. The Nissan’s novelty passed the Nürburgring track for 7:08/69.

The second novelty is the FV2 concept introduced by Toyota. It is the three-wheeled vehicle powered by just batteries. This novelty is equipped with the voice and facial systems. Besides, the car may recognize mood and driving style of a driver.

Daihatsu presents its Koen convertible concept. This novelty meets all requirements according sizes of city vehicles.

Lexus makes us happy its new RC that is available with different powertrains and under different indexes: the RC 300 and RC 350. The RC 350 gets a 3.5-liter V6 engine while the RC 300 is equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, which works with the brand’s hybrid drive system.

We will see the new Porsche Panamera Turbo S. This novelty is considered the most powerful and fastest Panamers model. The car has a 4.8-liter V8 twin turbocharged engine producing the power of 570 horsepower with 552 lb-ft of the torque.

Mercedes-Benz is ready to introduce its SLS AMG GT Final Edition that will come into the market at the end of next year as the model of 2015. The auto manufacturer plans to launch only 350 cars of this model.

We could not notice the most popular model in the world – the MINI Cooper. The new version will already come on next March. It is the three-door convertible with a hard top. Later the carmaker promises to introduce other models that will replace the current ones.
