2015 Ford Mustang to Convention and Blend Upgrades
Call it Ford's Announcement of Independents. Given that both the Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger already have separate rears, it is not quite as ground-breaking as "We hold these truths... " But even with today's aged inflexible axle, the Mustang is currently well known in this category, along with a brand new unibody platform with its wheelbase and front and back tracks all cinched tighter should help to keep the Ford ahead ofits peers.
Ford has pretty much mined out its glory days, the as yet unrealized Mustang II redux however, as the Mustang is slavishly, unimaginatively retro. So that the next vehicle will probably be fearlessly modern. Between the Focus and the Fusion, Ford's styling section is on the hot streak.
The Mustang will have at-least one retro cue, though : an accessible turbocharged four cylinder engine. Absent from the line because the 1986 SVO, the forced induction four returns in the guise of Ford's EcoBoost 2.0 liter, which makes 252 hp in the Focus ST. Ford's 5.0 liter V8 will top the range. The Blue Oval cannot manage to abandon the Camaro ZL1 unchallenged, and so another GT500 is a conviction; less certain, nevertheless, is what will it to power. Pedestrian protection standards will confine the underhood clearances in the following car, cutting the space available not merely for the Shelby's top-backing supercharger and intercooler, but also its tall deck engine block. We guess Ford will find a means to nestle a set of turbos against the 5.0's block. With all engines, a manual will be normal, and we discover that an 8 - speed automatic will arrive fashionably late.
