2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Red Vapor edition is introduced in Paris
The Grand Cherokee SRT has been updated and presented at the Paris auto show as a car of 2015 model year.
Main updates include a more powerful engine, which has been boosted from 470 horsepower to 475 horsepower of the output and from 465 lb-ft to 470 lb-ft of the torque.
The updated novelty is available with different body paints: Redline Red Pearl Clear Coat, Bright White Clear Coat and Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Coat. The exterior also gets new 20-inch wheels in Goliath-style.
Moreover, the updated Jeep has received the Active Noise cancel system, which reduces noise outside for more comfortable driving.
The 2015 model is equipped with the 6.4-liter V8 HEMI engine and the eight-speed automatic gearbox. The novelty gets Brembo brakes and Pirelli tires; in addition, the carmaker offers also Bilstein dampers and Selec-Track adjustable suspension.
Owing to the powertrain, the car is able to accelerate from 0 mph to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds; the maximum speed is 160 mph.
