Chevrolet shows a Niva concept car

At the auto show, which takes place this week in Moscow, Chevrolet will show its new crossover concept that based on the Lada Niva –the Russian off-road vehicle, which has been producing by AvtoVAZ since 1977. Jointly AvtoVAZ and General Motors have designed the Chevrolet Niva especially for the Russian auto market.
This concept is longer than the Chevrolet Trax; it is equipped with the 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine developed by Peugeot. The output of the concept’s powertrain is 134 horsepower; the car has the five-speed manual gearbox and all-wheel-drive as well.
The future subcompact crossover has a quite nice exterior including the roof track, winch, headlight guards, big clearance and wheels are worn BFGoodrich tires.
The production model of this concept is expected to come on the Russian auto market in two years. Currently, the carmaker does not plan to offer the Niva crossover for other auto markets in the world.
