Ford is working on the 2015 S-Max model
Ford is working on the next generation of the S-Max, which is been testing as a prototype.
The U.S. customers do not have an opportunity to get the current version of this car; probably, the situation will be changed due to the new version of the S-Max.
The novelty is built on the CD4 platform with the front-wheel-drive, which used in the Lincoln MKZ and Fusion.
We know that the future S-Max looks like its prototype presented in Frankfurt last year. The car will get the Aston Martin’s hexagonal grille, back-lifting tailgate and four doors as well.
Inside, the car will get many technologies such as the SYNC with My Ford Touch and others. The car will have only five seats. In addition, the new S-Max will get the brand’s Vignale trim but it will be available only for Europe.
The next generation of S-Max is planned to be equipped with the 1.5-liter foyr-cylinder EcoBoost engine. Moreover, the car will be offered in both plug-in hybrid and hybrid versions.
The new S-Max sales are planned to start next year in Europe. If the auto manufacturer makes decision to bring this model to the U.S., the official selling of the S-Max will begin in fall next year.
