Infiniti QX60 became hybrid
Infinity introduced new hybrid version of crossover QX60 at the New York Motor Show. The model has much in common with Nissan Pathfinder hybrid.
The car is equipped with petrol engine of 2,5V and electric engine of 15 kWh power. Total power of both engines aggregated with CVT gear box is of 250 hp. Besides, compact lithium - ion batteries are used in system. The intellectual system of recuperative braking partially recharges batteries during braking. The declared average fuel consumption makes 26 miles on fuel gallon, that is about 9 liters on 100 kilometers of a way. The car will be available both with forward, and with the full drive.
Compactness of batteries allowed to keep an equal floor in back part of salon and rather large volume of a luggage compartment. Batteries are placed under the third row of seats. As representatives of Infiniti declare, the sizes of salon and possibility of its transformation at a hybrid just the same, as well as at the petrol version. Already in a basic complete set leather trim of chairs is available. Optionally it is possible to order system of heating and cooling of forward chairs, heating of the second row of seats and a wheel.
On sale of QX60 Hybrid will appear at the end of 2013. The hybrid version will cost is 3000 dollars more expensive than the usual.
