Nissan plans to rebadge the Juke to the Infiniti ESQ for the Chinese market
The Nissan Juke cannot be considered as a premium model, but the Nissan brand has made decision to rebadge it to the Infiniti brand specially for selling in China. Besides, it will not be a regular Juke; it will be the Juke NISMO as well.
The sporty Juke NISMO will be renamed as the Infiniti ESQ. The ESQ is equipped with the 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, which produces the output of 197 horsepower and the torque of 184 lb-ft. The powertrain works with the CVT, front-wheel-drive is a standard but all-wheel-drive is also available.
The Juke NISMO has shared with the new Infiniti ESQ some technical features such as 18-inch wheels and the aero enhancement. However, at the same time, the novelty will not get some interior accents such as contrast stitching and the steering wheel of Alcantara.
Infiniti is ready to present the ESQ model at the auto show in Chengdu (China), which takes place later this week.
Moreover, the carmaker has already declared prices for the novelty –the car will cost from 32,525 to 48,787 dollars depending on packs.
