Porsche is ready to introduce its new Cayenne
Do you remember the latest Cayenne SUV of the second generation that was launched as a model of 2011? Yes, you do! Nowadays, the auto manufacturer is working on updating its popular SUV. This updating is related to increasing of Cayenne sales; the carmaker sold 15,545 cars in 2012 and about 18,507 vehicles last year.
This novelty will debut this spring in New York and Beijing as a car of 2015 model year. Then the auto manufacturer will start selling of renewed SUV.
This updated vehicle will get new sports bumpers, renewed front and back lights; besides, we will see new exhaust pipes and the changed interior as well.
Moreover, there will be the Cayenne S of the same year, which will be offered with a 3.0-liter V6 twin turbocharged engine that is expected to produce the output of 420 horsepower.
In addition, the carmaker will also introduce the 2015 Cayenne S E-Hybrid, equipped with a V6 gasoline engine and the electric motor, which will have the power of 416 horsepower together.
We have not had the official information yet but according to rumors, the new Cayenne will be available with a V6 diesel engine, which will be able to produce the output of 240 horsepower.
Besides, there will be the Cayenne Turbo and Turbo S models equipped with the powertrain of the latest Panamera Turbo S issuing the power of 570 horsepower.
All new Cayenne SUVs will get the brand’s PDK dual-clutch gearbox. While the plug-in hybrid and diesel versions will be equipped with the eight-speed automatic transmission.
The novelty will get new systems such as the lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control having the automatic braking, traffic sign detection.
