Porsche plans to come in 15 countries in 6 years
The auto manufacturer announced its plans to come in 15 new countries in the world. These will be mainly African states.
Porsche is carrying out its global strategy by entering 15 countries more. We have known it from the sales chief of the carmaker at the opening the new dealer room in Shanghai. The automaker plans to achieve its aims by 2020.
Unfortunately, he did not mentioned which markets in Africa.
Porsche is a part of Volkswagen group and its profit is about 5.78 billion euros that lets Porsche to be on the third place among Audi and the Volkswagen brands.
The auto manufacturer is going to increase production of compact SUVs as the Macan. This model will be on sale in many countries in the world beginning from 2014.
Besides, Porsche plans to increase its selling in the Chinese market, which is the second largest car market in the world after the U.S.
China is the brand’s customer number one of Porsche’s Panamera and Cayenne models. Now the company is focusing on sports cars sales in China too.
The Porsche brand concentrates at launching its popular 911 car for the Chinese customers.
According to the statement of auto manufacturer, they are happy that one of the largest car markets in the world has accepted their Panamera, Cayenne models and sports cars. But the brand plans to strengthen its influence in China owing to increasing the 911 sales there.
Porsche’s vehicles sales went up 15 percent in China during the first nine months this year. There was increasing of 28 percent for the brand’s cars last year. By the way, the year has not been over yet…
The carmaker plans to sell over 200,000 cars annually next two years widely in the world. More 145,000 vehicles were sold last year.
