Selling of Russia cars decreased in July
According to official information, Russian car sales are considerably dropping by 8 percent to 234,569 vehicles five months running until July this year, but it should be noted that it is less than 11 percent of decreasing in June.
The Association of European Businesses prejudiced forecasts about sales of 2.8 million cars for a year. During July, sales went down 6 percent to 1.567892 vehicles.
The chairperson of the automakers committee of the AEB reported that the decline rate came to the maximum figure and after that, we had to expect increasing of sales in the following month and the situation would normalize.
The economic production in Russia is up be about 2 percent at the beginning of this year but that is the lowest rate since 2009.
The AEB is waiting for the government loan-financed support program to promote sales.
World auto manufacturers such as General Motors, Ford, Renault and Fiat put significant investment into Russia to make the one of largest car market, which would even outgo the Germany market as the largest in the world.
