The Toyota Company plans to sell from 5,000 to 10,000 FC vehicles per year
The largest Japanese auto manufacturer shared its plans to annually sell about 10,000 fuel cell cars. According to the carmaker’s representative official statement, FCVs will have a competitive price in comparison with other vehicle with zero-emission by 2030.
Toyota considers that dropping price of the fuel cells will allow selling about 10,000 cars a year. In that case, the auto manufacturer begins launching the FCV concept in a year; as you remember this FCV concept was presented at the show in Tokyo this year.
When the first fuel cell vehicle was introduced in 2007, the price of each fuel cell was about 750,000 euros. The carmaker plans to cut costs by over 35,000 euros by 2015.
