Toyota does not want to deprive drivers control vehicles

The Japanese auto manufacturer Toyota insists on the main role of a driver in controlling of a vehicle in spite of the completely autonomous cars equipped with modern innovative technologies. The latest technology allow producing self-driving cars by 2020.
The brand’s representative said that the drive had to remain the only one important part in driving though innovations.
We may cite as an example planes have an autopilot system, however, during some difficult situations a pilot always takes control. According this statement, we would like to support Toyota that the drive must be at the center.
Besides, the carmaker said that the Toyota Company would produce vehicles equipped with automated driving systems but not autonomous driving systems.
Other carmakers such as Nissan and Daimler plan to start self-driving vehicles production by 2020, meanwhile General Motors is going to make the autonomous driving as the on/off system like the cruise control.
