The new Dodge Viper will get more powerful by next year
2275
Recently, we have gotten the interesting information about some technical updates of the Dogde Viper, which will be introduced for the 2015 model year. First, what you can also think as we that the Viper might be equipped with the powertrain of the latest Challenger Hellcat, but you are wrong. The updated Viper will have the similar 8.4-liter V10 unit as well.
What is the difference, then? The car will get the boost of the engine by five additional horsepower. Its output will be boosted from 640 horsepower to 645 horsepower.
Certainly, in spite of this horsepower bump, the Viper will not be able to take the highest place in the lineup of powerful cars. For example, the latest Challenger Hellcat has the output of 707 horsepower, while the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 produces the output of 650 horsepower.
Anyway, we wish the additional boost under the bumper of the Dodge Viper will increase the car’s selling.
